Individualized Risk Management (Risks Chosen by Participants)

Objectives

Upon completion of this course in full, participants will have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and be able to explain risk management theory and practice as it impacts on the health care system
  • Applied critical thinking skills to selected health risk management cases in order to obtain and interpret the information contained in the cases
  • Demonstrated an ability to apply health case law and statute law to practical healthcare risk management situations
