Objectives

Upon completion of this course in full, participants will have:

Demonstrated knowledge of and be able to explain patient/resident safety, continuous quality improvement and enterprise risk management theory and practice as they impact on the health care system
Applied critical thinking skills to selected patient safety areas in order to obtain and interpret the information contained in those areas
Begun to create, or enhanced, their own coherent Patient/Resident Safety Plan
