Objectives
Upon completion of this course in full, participants will have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of and be able to explain patient/resident safety, continuous quality improvement and enterprise risk management theory and practice as they impact on the health care system
- Applied critical thinking skills to selected patient safety areas in order to obtain and interpret the information contained in those areas
- Begun to create, or enhanced, their own coherent Patient/Resident Safety Plan
